2015 F-250 PSD Valvoline blue synthetic 5W40 - high fuel percentage

Interesting. I run a ScanGuage II to track Regens and GPL (grams per liter) in the DPF filter. Been using Valvoline 5w40...haven't done a UOA in a while. Thanks for sharing.
I do not think it's oil related. I think it's injector related but have yet to figure out which one(s). At almost 160K miles maybe the injectors are worn and need replaced. The injectors are $300 each plus labor and then reprogramming the ECM per injector. But from reading when an injector needs replacing ones notices it in how the truck starts or runs.

Excessive regens will cause high fuel dilution. I had this problem in a TDI with a bad thermostat that could not reach operating temperature. I also had 8% FD.

Use effective fuel additives that improve combustion and remove injector deposits. Many are snake oil (a secret) and make vague performance claims. Avoid any solvent based additive like Stanadyne PF unless you absolutely need a winter formula and only use it seasonally. Check the SDS for harsh solvents like Naptha if unsure about formulation.

power service and Amalgamated TDR-FL as examples.
