2014 Cruze 2.0, RLI 5w-30HD low ash, 10.010 miles

This is the second UOA on the RLI. I didn't drain it and like an idiot, I did change it out before the results came back because it was up on my lift to rotate the tires and figured may as well change out the oil. Terry said it could go to 15k no problems. So this oil change will see if it holds up the same and I will take it out to possibly 20k. Terry thinks it can do it with no problem. This has the AC Delco cartridge oil filter and AC Delco air filter. Kind of wild to see the TBN stay so high.

The same engine is specced for 22k miles on acea C2 oil (pretty much an ILSAC 5w-30) in my car. The only thing Fiat is adamant about is 10% or less Noack. the RLI has incredible high TBN for a low-ash oil...

I always thought it was odd how the 5Wxx products from RLI do/did noticeably better than their 0Wxx products. You still finding that to be the case, Rat?

I have not noticed that. So far what I have been using is the 5w-x weights. Using this one specifically per Terry's suggestion. Low ash so it will be OK with my particulate filter.
