UOA for my 2012 F150, sample was taken at 210, 403 miles, first UOA since I have the truck at 151k miles. Lots of short trips and long drives, a good mix. Looks to be good, upset to see the low viscosity, should that be a cause for concern? Sitting at 213k right now with more M1 HM 10W30 in the pan. Sent the sample out almost a month ago just got the results yesterday.

I would take Blackstone's advice. That's a good report and you should try a 7k run especially running a good oil like that. Even though they mentioned about the viscosity, your engine probably is spec'd to use a 5w-20 or 5w-30.

I just looked at another UOA where the Mobil 1 5W-30 slipped down to a 20 weight after 4100 miles. Is this common with Mobil 1? I just switched my wife's Tucson to Mobil 1 and that is a bit concerning to me.

Different engine, driver and environment. This is not a good reference for you to be concerned about.

Very good run. Vis is fine. Vis is still above 20 grade. You only need enough vis to keep the parts apart. Truck on!

the 3.7L with the water pump mounted on the outside are lovely motors. Wish I could get a MT mustang with that..

Exact one I have, external water pump, its been a great engine, while I could use a V8 and 4wd, theres beauty in a paid off vehicle. It does what I need it to do and does it well.
