2010 Toyota Sequoia 237k; Mobil 1 5w-20 3k

Just purchased this 2010 Toyota Sequoia with 5.7 with 232K miles. Wanted to have a base line to start with....previous owner said he used 5w-20 Mobil-1 and I am estimating the oil had 3.5-4.5k miles on it. Hard to know for sure as there was no window sticker or update in the maintenance log that recorded the milage of the last change. Kirkland 0w-20 with Toyota OEM filter went in with the first planned change at 4K....then expect to go to 5k after that. This is the 1st time I've taken oil samples, so just starting out on the conservative side.

Probably one of the cleanest UOAs in recent memory. Nice SUV.

Looks good. Based on BS's avg's on Fe it looks to be 2,437.5 miles on this sample.

Didn't this vehicle spec 5w-30 new? Impressive results. Just shows you dont always need a "thick" oil for normal use.

I don't even know if I'd bother with UOA's on this engine. They are crazy good. I had a coworker with 400k on his, running like a darn watch. Deer killed it.
