All I can really find on it is the GM high-content 3.6L from the CTS, 6-speed auto and..surprisingly...AWD. I guess that'll keep all the anti-RWD snow-belt customers buying Buick. There are some gallery shots on Buick.com. Quite a handsome car IMO.

Actually it has a 3.0L in 255 and 280hp versions not ths CTS 3.6. Seems like they'd use the 3.6 instead of creating new engines. I love the power and smoothness of the DI3.6 in my new CTS.

You are correct. My info was from a dated magazine source (see link way above), never can trust them or maybe it was a last minute thing. Anyhow - glad they're using the 3.6L as its already established.

The 3.0 v6 is just a smaller version of the 3.6 v6. So I always just figured it was going to be a detuned di 3.6 for that 280hp
