2009 Mazda 5 - Dead battery, checking dark current

Found the source of the parasitic current drain - it was the Bluetooth unit, which we don't use anyway. Was able to get to the connector by removing the glove box, and was able to reach up through a hole to remove the connector.

Dark current dropped from 0.29 A immediately to 0.13 A, and then after a few minutes to 0.02 A.

No brilliant troubleshooting on my part - saw an "ask the mechanic" thread last night whereby an experienced Mazda tech said that the hands-free units are a common source of parasitic current draw. That was for a Mazda CX-9, but I thought it was worth a try.

If I'd been thinking, I would have moved the +ve probe from the 10 A port to the mA port to get a more precise measure of the dark current, but regardless, I'm happy with c. 20 mA.
