L.L. said "Here's another pic. At first I thought that the hood was popped open, but that seems to be the design. I mini hood scoop I guess."

Nope, just the usual G.M. fit & finish. The hood is closed.

The car's not even out yet. What do you drive?

Like I tell everyone I send over here from ls1tech, "get ready to duck or fight with all of the GM/domestic bashers/haters & TOY/import nameplate lovers who will JUMP at ANY chance they get to castigate domestic nameplates, sometimes totally unprovoked, and having nothing to do with the subject/thread at hand."
Don't say you were not warned. But it is a SHAME this has to occur on what is otherwise a PHENOMENAL and extremely informative site.

I like the side view. Cool looking car
The problem with those who constantly bash the domestic vehicles is they think their opinion is the only one.

We drove to the local Wal-Mart this morning and I was telling my wife about a post made on this forum a couple days ago and the poster was ranting about people that drove SUV's
I told my wife he don't realize that not everyone wants to drive a mortorized skate board with a hopped up chain saw engine.

We was pulling into the Wal-Mart and I said just to prove that most people don't agree with this kind of thinking look at the parking lot.

It was full of pickups SUV and vans with a few mid sized cars. NO skateboards anywhere

The new Holden Commodore it's based on was develped to match BMW 530 in ride/handling/stering. One recent tester said it was better than BMW 550 they used in comparison. Concensus is it's better in that dept than any BMW. They nailed it!

You know what? I think that wheel is just a hubcap. Look at the second car on the picture above and then look at this picture from the transformers article:

That looks like a hubcap with a built-in fake rotor.

Update: This car will be in the new Transformers movie. That is probably why it was across the street.

Looks like the same car to me

I always preferred Gobots, but if the cop car is made, I'd get it for my police car collection.

The only problem I have with alot of the manufacturers these days (besides the rust problems
crushedcar.gif
) is that they don't factor in the states that the cops whine and complain they NEED front plates
smirk.gif
. So what happens? A car that could have been not bad looking with a better designed front bumper accomodating a front tag gets a cheap flimsy plastic "bracket" tacked on with cheap rivets.

Example is the '97-'98 Grand Am and now the G6's. I won't go into the old Taurus' bad design. I cannot count how many of those I've seen come into the truck stop and their tag is all bent underneath the bumper cover.
