Hello

I have a wheel alignment question for a 2006 VW Jetta

What is adjustable for a factory / stock setup, no aftermarket kits.

Basically what is adjustable for this vehicle and a standard wheel alignment?

Front toe, camber , caster?
Rear toe, camber, caster?

Rear toe and camber are adjustable with shims, it takes having the current alignment numbers first then calculate what is needed, it usually takes 2 shims to correct the toe and camber. The front camber can be done with a plate. All it takes is someone who has a clue how to do these cars, not some schmuck at the local Firestone.
My Beetle was all over the place like a drunken homeless person, once I got it shimmed up right it tracked true.

I hit a curb island covered with snow in my GLI. It messed up the camber on the front. The dealer shifted the subframe and installed new bolts. That was a $350 alignment and few shops will do it and some that do might reuse the stretch bolts.

I did some research late last night and found that in the front only the toe is adjustable via th etie rods

in the rear both the toe and camber is adjustable
Rear Camber – eccentric cam bolt upper control arm / transmission link

Rear Toe – eccentric cam bolt lower lateral / transmission link inboard subframe bushing
