This is UOA number 2 on the Transfer Case of my 2006 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4WD. Silicon and Iron are obviously high...I am not sure what is causing this. The sampling method used was the same as on the first UOA - I used a clean plastic tube with a sampling pump - I tried to keep the end of the tube in the "middle" of the fluid, taking care not to draw the fluid from the top of the fluid level or the bottom of the compartment. The fluid was warm when the sample was taken. TAN on virgin, unused SVG tested at 4.3. Comments?
