I don't thing they'll break H-D sales records, but they look like very well put together bikes. The 1852cc air cooled motor is supposed to be very strong, better than the Kawasaki 2000 they say. Be interesting to see how they stack up. Every year it seems like manufacurers outdo themselves.

Looks like a wanna-be road king to me. As far as I am concerned, the only true japanese cruiser style bike is the Honda Valkyrie. All of the rest are just knock-offs of a competetor's bike. What ever happened to originality? Yamaha used to make a decent cruiser back in the mid 80's called the maxim, but then they decided to follow suit and follow the pack instead of being original.

the way i see it, there is little originality in cruisers anyway. pretty formulaic. v-twin, chrome, etc...

hd has been making the same bikes for 50 years. cruisers are popular, and the japanese are profiting from it as well.

anytime anyone releases an "original" cruiser it bombs (bmw, moto guzzi).

this yammie looks good though (like a lot of cruisers do).
