2006 HHR LT, Syntec 5W30, 8151 miles

UOA of the third oil change for the 2006 HHR LT with a 2.4L VVT Ecotec.

First two OCIs were with dino (including factory fill).
This is the first run with synthetic, ran for 6 months, 8151 miles.

good wear coming from the 2.4L your olm said 16%, TBN 2.8. OLM is looking good each time

That was the first time I've ever gone that long on an OCI. I wasn't sure what to expect when I sent the oil in.

Other than my previous OCI, which was about 5400 miles, I've been a 3000 miler my whole life.

I saw that post about the OLM.

I follow the OLM to some degree, but I change the oil twice a year; in April and October when it's not too cold to be laying in my driveway.

The oil from that report was in use from April 24th to October 21st.

Wow! That is a great report BR! Methinks I may keep my current fill of 4 Quarts Havoline Synthetic and 1 quart Havoline dino in there for more than 5k
