2006 6.0L powerstroke

Here's the verdict.
2 small oil leaks found. 1 small leak at the O ring at the crankshaft sensor and 1 small oil leak at the cam sensor. Both replaced and repaired under warranty.

Air leak found at high pressure oil pump. Installed some sort of bracket kit (don't have paper with me with the exact name). Repaired under warranty. Deductible cost $100.00

Lots of trash found in the fuel system and injectors needed cleaning and throttle body needed cleaning. I gave my permission to get this done b/c I know that the shops don't really make much money (or the diesel techs) on warranty work.
Cost = $170.00

So, $278.00 later I will be keeping a real close eye on my rig to see if she's running better and if she is cranking like she ought to be.

The oil leaks at the crank and cam sensors most likely had nothing to do with your starting issue, unless it actually logged a DTC lacking a signal.

The leak they found was most likely at the branch tube adapter. Thats a good thing, not so much fun to do.

What do they mean by "trash" in your fuel system? some of the tolerances are around .003"-.004" I fail to see what they are talking about.

I understand the "cleaning" of injectors. Cummins has this miracle fluid you run the Engine on o help remove carbon deposits. Believe it or not it actually works for the most part... for a while anyways.
