2005 RX 330

I traded my 01 RX 300 for an 05 RX 330 and I pick it up tomorrow (Sat.) My question for you guy`s is;I checked the service records and it was maintained @ the Lexus dealer where she purchased it.And it turned out to be around 5k oil changes,my question is do you all think I should just use Pennzoil conventional and 5k intervals,or go Synthetic? BTW it has 59k on it.I`m undecided because this motor is not supposed to be a sludger,and because of all the great comments on here re: conventional oil these day`s.

Your warranty is up in 1000 miles. I would go 7500 on whatever syn grabs you.

Or is the Lexus powertrain warranty longer?

IMO, you do benifit from the cold weather performance and it's less work to change less often.

I beleive the power train waranty is 6/70 and I think that you can use any oil brand conventional or synthetic in the proper grade that makes you sleep at night.

Thanx bepperb,I`m checking with the dealer now to see how much warranty the vehicle has left on it.
