hey guys someone here and some yota techs told me that there is a differential seperate from the transmission.. well i looked and i saw nothing BUT the transmission where you can drain and fill.. this is tripping me out.. is the different/ transmission all mixed together hence the reason why i cant find the seperate differential??

I looked up on the Amsoil website for a 2005 Corolla and they do not list a fluid or capacity for a differential. So I assume its integrated with the transmission.

Most have the transmission and differential share fluid.
On some Toyotas, that was not the case. However, on automatic transmissions, both the AT and differential used Dexron ATF. That made no sense to me.

On some SAABs where the engine was installed so the accessory drive, the transmission and differential have separate fluids, GL-5 gear oil for the differential.
