I bought the part from the Toyota dealer, not bad at $29.00. Not a hard job, just needed a 10MM deep well socket.
However, this may not be the problem. The part that came out looked dry, not as if it had been leaking.
Time will tell.

I recently had my valve cover gasket replaced on my new2me 05 Camry at 100k miles, when inspecting condition under it and replacing spark plugs, and good thing I did as the original was cardboard hard-brittle cracking...it wasn't leaking but it was well past its time to go.

A little isn't going to bother anything and may help with sealing. I smear a little RTV on GM 3800 coolant elbows o rings as a matter of course, it works like a charm.
Haven't had one leak yet.
