Time to change the differential oil in my 02 Silverado 5.3. It has the G-80 locker. Previously used Amsoil 75w-90 synthetic but want to try something different

M1 75W90 LS is about $11 at my local AAP...reasonable price, good product...that would be my choice.

Do I have to worry about which oils have additives? i think I remember reading something about not using additives..

I have a 2001 GMC with a G-80. I did not like Valvoline, or Mobil-1. Amsoil SVG worked very good. I am now using Eneos in the front, and LubroMoly in the back.

there is a guy on ebay that sells Eneos gear oil for a low price. His name is swervemotorsports. here is his link. swervemotorsports

Just do a search for "Eneos 75w-90". He has different auctions depending on how much oil you need. If you have a 4WD, you will need 5 qts. If you have a 2WD, you will need 3 qts. He also sells RedLine lube. Free Shipping.
