This is an ongoing check-up to make sure the LIM gasket is fixed, everything seems like it is headed in the right direction.

Vehicle does not use oil between changes and seems to be in good mechanical shape overall.

PureOne filter used.

I bet... It may have been the bottles that say "Already exceeds GF-5..."

Nice showing with the PYB 5w30. I too, am surprised by the amount of Moly in PYB as of late. Almost looks like Formula Shell with all the Moly. Thanks for Posting!

This was PYB I got when it was on sale at Ace a while back for $1.50/qt. I still have one of the bottles out in the garage and I'll have to check whether it is labelled as SN or not.

Thanks cchase. That would be MOST appreciated. This is a topic currently being debated and that would help us figure this out for sure. My guess is it is SN as it appears they've beefed up the add pack for SN and those are pretty darn impressive right there.

cchase , there's also a date stamped on the back of the bottle on the bottom . Please let us know what the date is . Thanks for the U.O.A. and checking for the date .

Thanks for posting this. I'll soon be drawing a sample from our Impala of the same vintage and similar mileage, although its a 3400 motor. It'll be a neat comparison!
