The engine oil pan has been leaking on my 2015 Eco Boost for almost a year, the right side on the pan was wet with oil yet wouldn't drip to the under cover. The dealer was informed a year ago and said bring it in when it starts to bother you. The Document was created for repair then. Ford replaced the pan under warranty, the pan cost $365 ish dollars at Rock Auto I didn't look up other places Prices. The pan is plastic. I have run PP, Magnatec, Valvoline syn with Max life tech and M1 high mile oil. the Ford dealer put 5W-30 Motorcraft [I hope] . Anyway I can't tell the difference with the seat of the pants dyno between the oils.

It's a composite.

My 3.5 has been changed....twice.
The original started leaking between 20 & 30k
Replaced at 30k but was leaking soon after.
They need 4 days to do the job.
1 day to confirm the leak and order parts
1 day to remove the pan and24 hrs to let it drip out.
Install new pan and let cure min 12 hrs before refilling with oil.

It charges out around $660.00.

My '11 6.7 had a composite, the '12s don't.

I have heard that they went back to steel on the 3.5 now.
The 5.0 came out with a composite on the '18.

You sure you looked up the right pan? FL3Z-6675-B is the latest part number for the 2.7EB in a F-150 and it lists for $90.95. We don't do a ton of them, but generally the best way to repair is to drop the pan, let it sit with no pan on almost a day, clean the surface, apply the RTV and pan, let sit overnight or 24 hours, refill with oil. Then it shouldn't leak anymore. We did one like that 3 times before we got it to not leak. Each time using a new pan since they pretty much are scrap as soon as you take them off.

Some time in 2018 the 3.5 went back to an aluminum pan. It should retrofit to any one with a composite pan on a 3.5 eco F150.

I think built after 2/18.
Some people say you have to change out the oil pick up also.
I asked about it when mine went in... no go under warranty.

You didn't notice any seat of the pants dyno difference between the oils because it's been 30 years since the last time when you had your seat of the pants dyno calibrated

bd, I could have easily looked up the wrong pan. It was nice having the dealer do the work and Ford doing the warranty.

Ford sells a load of F150s.
