I messaged the seller and he said the oil has been changed regularly and the engine has never been rebuilt.

Parents test-drove one in late 1994. It was so slow and unresponsive to throttle inputs that my stepfather did a u-turn in the middle of the road to take it back to the dealership!

I always thought the name was great. If you owned on of these things you "Aspire" to drive something better...which would be just about anything else.

buddy's mom bought a used one in...2000-2001?
it was named the Ass-Fire, or Ass-pirate, depending on which family member you ask.
she replaced it with a Focus, and replaced that with an Aztek. (family freind still driving the Aztek, well north of 200k mi)
