As to the VSS and the technician, I just cleaned up a lot of connections including alternator cable with brake cleaner, and I am evaluating if it even needs a VSS.

the needle bounces less than before.

moving on from dumb and stupid flames, I can tell you that the car shift motor and speedometer pounces less, only bounces a lot when I'm above 85 miles per hour!

I spent a lot of time cleaning up the electrical connections.

maybe nobody took it out, after all.

I would next like to talk about the shifting of the car.

I took this video so you all can see how it acts. More often than not, the AC is on when it does this.

This one is for Baby... But, I was able to give a more complete showing of the shifting of the car.

Also, I think this one, not only does it shift better when coming off the line, but it shows that the car is capable of shifting well, and the needle bouncing less. I will probably ditch the technician that cannot find the VSS; I have a place I can take it to that can get it changed, assuming they can show me the old part, so that I know they did not simply say they did, and didnt.

The light turned green at 1:04 in this video, I wanted to be sure the camera was rolling to capture its shifts. I showed how A/C was off, and the temp gauge was again at normal, having been between the low side of gauge and the "N" in NORMAL range previous.

And because I cannot find the VSS, I have an Indy shop that can change it, assuming they know how to do it in the way that is to go in through the top. I simply wonder their price.

I will look again, but my heat shield looks mangled, maybe is why I cannot see it.
