Stopped by the local C/D/J/R dealer today and this was at the entrance. It appears to be original. (Not sure about the wheels). The paint isn't as nice as it looks but it could be corrected. I had to look, produced in '78 & '79, (this is a '78) with a modified 360 with no cats. There was one in my home town owned by 2 sisters of questionable values. They ran with a tough crowd, lived hard and drove the truck hard. My long hair dirt bike gang stayed clear of them.

But never broke!

I test drove one once with manual trans...."pickup with no pickup"🤣
Oh, it broke plenty. The frame near the front was cracked because of the death wobble the previous owner ignored for too long. (That was my first experience with a Lincoln arc welder.) I had to get the 727 rebuilt. I once walked home because the ballast resistor burned out. The gas gauge quit working. An axle broke, though I have no idea how that could have happened with all 70 hp it pounded the pavement with. The Carter YF one barrel was a flood-o-matic. I broke a rear leaf spring hauling 20 sheets of 7/16" OSB... Other than that it was a really good truck, lol.
