These came off of a 2004 Camry 2AZ-FE with 122.6k miles. Since it's not my car, I'm not as on top of the maintenance (but it gets done). It was so freaking easy to do that I probably should have done it earlier.

New and old for comparison

Interesting that the ones pulled were made in USA while the replacements were Japanese.

How much did the gap open up? I cant say that they look bad...

Seems like a solid performance.

It looks like the only thing noticeable is that the center electrode wore a bit unevenly on the plug farthest to the right, but it still appears that the original gap spec is almost there.

Gaps on the old ones range from 0.044-0.045. New one is 0.044. So they held up pretty well, which explains why the car wasn't running any different.

I found it peculiar the originals were made in the US too. Maybe Toyota uses enough of the NGK plugs that they produce them here for them

. I was also expecting Denso, and the NGKs surprised me.

NGK has a couple factories in the US for spark plugs. Never actually seen US branded ones before though, all the ones I've used have been Japanese.

Those plugs frankly look awesome, consisdering 123k miles. Outstanding!

When I changed 16 plugs in my E430 3 years ago when it had 8x,xxx miles, the condition of all the plugs were very good, if I didn't already bought the replacement plugs I would kept the old plugs for another 40-50k miles. The engine performance wasn't changed after the new plugs were installed. The OEM plugs were Bosch Platinum and the new ones were new/improved Bosch Platinum.
