Thank you for the link. As an SG oil it should have up to 1000 ppm phosphorus and 1400 ppm zinc... overkill for an SOHC roller-tappet engine but that's alright. Moto Guzzi was still making them with flat tappets until model year 2012 and this oil spec may be a hold-over from back then.
 
Black Dog … Eni/Saipem has some construction equipment named such … years ago when I worked in West Africa … they had a “meet and greet” lady (Italian with black clothes only) who walked a black dog. Easy to spot for first time arrivals in high security area …

API SG sounds nice...but there is also Jaso MA2....wich as I understand lowers ZDDP content because it is catalyst oriented...?
 
Jaso MA and MA2 relate to wet clutch frictional characteristics. May limit the max ppm of AW's due to clutch frictional issues.
