decided that i dont want to run synthetic in my car anymore, does not pay as i change it every 3,000 miles, not really getting my moneys worth. switching to motorcraft syntehtic blend 5W30 from here on out, but would it be ok to run 10W30 motorcraft in it for the summer? also was thinking about running rotella T5 10W30, but can this hurt my engine i knows its diesel oil but could it possibly hurt my engine? ive never run anything but 5W30 in it but it think the dealer has put 10W30 in it a few times(before i started doing my own oil) so can it hurt to switch back and forth between 5 and 10w?

No, it will not hurt your engine. This oil is also API SM rated for gasoline engines.

It won't hurt, but the diesel oils like the Rotella aren't energy conserving, so you'll probably be just unnecessarily robbing yourself of fuel economy.

I really don't see why you'd want to run 10w30 in it when 5w30 is available.
