Ah, the Mini GT McLarens are on my list.
Will be taking a trip later this year where I can walk into a store and choose from the whole range, as well as Tomicas and other more obscure brands.
None of the silly peg hunting with Mattel's stuff.
I'm not going to make a habit of intruding into your post. I'm not doing dioramas so I have to make do with household items. 
I thought you might like my two Alfa Giulia GTA versions made by Matchbox. The silver one is a 1965 stock version but I put different wheels on it, I also replaced the grey plastic stock bumpers with chrome bumpers, and I stripped the interior of the garish chrome finish to have a black interior. The white one is a Quadrifogllio (in-house Alfa tuner for those not familiar with "off brands") with the Alfa man-devouring snake/dragon on the hood and the Quadrifoglio clovers on both sides. This model has rubber tires and lacks bumpers.
