1/4” power ratchet

I’m looking to add some form of 1/4” drive power ratchet to the tool box. Really just for light duty but I’d like a semi low profile- that is to say not a typical impact driver. I don’t mind going pneumatic but would prefer a self contained battery powered unit.

has anybody seen such a beast out there?

The M-12 non-Fuel is the only one I have experience with, but I own it and love it. Mine is the 3/8" drive but I use it often with a (included) 1/4" drive adapter.

I’d look at the Earthquake from Harbor Freight honestly I have had great luck with them that’s who I would go with especially for the quality and money.

The whole benefit to me of 1/4 is because how much smaller and lighter it is. Fouling that up with an electric tool seems counter-intuitive.

I have one as well, and the 1/4 inch units are even smaller, a good thing for getting into tight spaces.

Per the specs on the Home Depot site, the 1/4 and 3/8 are identical other than the anvil and the 1/4 providing slightly less torque.

I stand corrected. I’ll stick with the non Fuel version being smaller than the Fuel version.

I liked the 3/8” so much, that I bought the 1/4”.

Makita's 12v ratchet has both a 3/8" and 1/4" head so you can switch out as needed.
