0W-30, 0W-40 versus 5W-30EP

Currently running Mobil 5W30 EP in our 2012 Tundra (5.7 Supercharged), 2020 Pilot (3.5L) and 2022 Accord (2.0T). Lived in So Cal so didn't get too cold in the winter. Recently moved to Boise, Idaho area where it can get to below freezing so considering Mobil 1, 0W30 ESP or 0W-40 Euro in all my vehicles in lieu of the Mobil 1, 5W-30 EP?

Really leaning towards Mobil 1, 0W-40 Euro.

For Supercharged 5.7, I would do UOA to see how the oil does in that modified engine. 0W30 is thicker than 5W30 EP. EP is ILSAC oil, ESP is oil with minimum HTHS 3.5, almost 0W40 oil based on KV100. But depending how hard that 5.7 is on oil, 40 might be good option.
Ever did UOA on it?

I’d run the 0W30 ESP in all of them. If you hammer on the Tundra, or tow with it, you could use the 0W40, but the 40W is probably overkill for the pilot and accord.

What you were running will be just fine for your new location.
If you are dead set on a Ow oil though the euro 0-40 you're considering would be fine but it no longer has the ZDDP levels that it once did.

I would like to recommend Mobil 1 ESP 0w-30. I have tried a couple of the 0w-40 or 5w-40 oils in my previous Asian engines. You may notice a little performance drag, get up and go drag with the heavier oils. The 0w-30 Mobil ESP will do fine. It has the Euro specs, a >3.5 HTHS. Good oil. These Toyota engines, though they are fine quality, are not Porsche racers! LOL!

I think this is a good recommendation, meaning 0W-30, versus 0W-40 or 5W-40. If your oil temperature is below 225F you do not need a 40 Weight Oil. I drove yesterday in 95F weather in some traffic 30 minutes 1 way, stayed at the doctor's office for about 30 minutes, and then drove home. When I got home, I hit the oil pan with an infrared gun and got a temp reading of 180, so my guess from doing the lawnmower thing and then getting a probe, that my oil temperature was between 200F to 210F

Yes, have done a few UOA's on it and no issues or unusual wear reported.

Nothing wrong with running 0w40 in all of those vehicles, especially with the winters you will have. I have run 0w40, 5w40 in Hondas, Fords, and GMs without noticing any difference other than being quieter. I have M1 5w40 in my 3.5L Impala and M1 0w40 in my F350 7.5L currently.

I may sound like a broken record on this, but Blackstone is utterly incapable of distinguishing between fuel dilution and actual mechanical shear of the VM. I wouldn’t condemn nor even prefer an oil based on anything they report in this regard.

Also ExxonMobil doesn’t use cheap VII either.
