I have tried searching for this, but does anyone happen to know what the air flow direction is for an 06 Corolla cabin air flow? I just replaced the factory cabin air filter... the factory filter has an arrow pointing up, but does that indicate the air flow or just telling people to keep the top part of the filter up? The new filter I bought from Wal Mart simply indicates air flow direction and I don't know if that is the same as what the factory air filter meant. Does anyone know the answer to this? Thank you.

we have an 05 and i put the arrow up. down usually mean h-e-l-l and i dont want to go there so i pointed it up.. works well :-))

I have a Malibu so don't know how accessible yours is compared to mine, but last time I just turned on the vent fan and stuck my hand in there. Turns out the air was coming from the bottom when I just assumed it was coming from the top. I had been putting them in backwards all this time (oops). I take the arrow to indicate airflow

it does and it does flow from bottom to top so place the arrow facing up and all will be fine
