I should add that the up/down fluctuation in iron levels is quite possibly due to changing oil chemistries with every change.

I'd suggest eliminating that as a variable until you get the dirt ingestion issue resolved....

Thing is, some of the metals were pretty high with the Motorcraft oil as well, dropped with the PP, then back up with the M1T&SUV. I dunno. I put a new air filter in yesterday (the old one was dirty but not bad) and disconnected the battery to reset the computer.
