I just found out I have a couple of bottles of RedLine SI fuel injector cleaner- am I good to use these or should I spend the dough on the GumOut HM?

Just a quick update- i threw some non synthetic in her a week ago today just to keep it topped up. So far the level of oil hasn't decreased, knock on wood.
My plan of running pennzoil platinum may not be happening as this oil is just under 50 bucks everywhere I've went. I was going to hop right on to maxlife unless you fellas have other suggestions for a good "cleaner oil" ?

I've tried them all. Trying PU right now, PP was average as a cleaner. Maxlife was a little better than PP or reg M1 so i would give it above avg. The best cleaner oil so far has been Mobil 1 High Mileage. Amazing. http://www.mobil.com/USA-English/Lubes/PDS/NAXXENPVLMOMobil_1_High_Mileage_Oil.aspx

He's in Canada. Specials are a little harder to come by up here. Mobil 1 High Mileage is not going to be a realistic option up here; the same applies to PU.

So i'll give Maxlife a go in a 30wt than and see how she goes.
