02 Caravan ready for Auto-RX, filter and oil

I have a 02 Caravan ready to start auto-rx, 60k. Any recommendations on filters? I have to use regular oil, eh? After she's done, I would like to switch over to synthetic, is that ok?

Any real reason to run auto-rx? I dont think it always necessary, just because a car has 60k or whatever. Given the miles youve gotten in the number of years, it seems youve put on a lot of highway moiles. Unless the oil was never changed or some other abuse was done, I cant imagine the engine to be dirty.

Id just switch to syn oil, and start using LC so that the oil keeps going and cleaning longer.

As a matter of fact, no I don't have a big reason, just jumping on the bandwagon. I just changed the oil for the first time so all car related repairs are foreign to me. Just learning. Thanks for the advice.

I would honestly wait for a bit before doing it unless you suspect some problems occuring.

To keep your oil as clean as possible, replace your PCV valve.
