Drain & refill was also done at 127,934 miles with RLI ATF.
Shifts are pretty much the same.
No visible fluid leaks.
Magnet on drain is, of course, cleaned every time.
The fluid is (almost) all RLI ATF, but there is some fluid that has quite a few miles on it as a result of drain & refill.
This is pretty much the same report as last time but I'm not going to go to a longer OCI due to the massive shearing that Honda AT do in a short amount of time.

Interesting stuff to us Honda AT owners, benjamming, thanks for posting. Have you installed an inline trans filter? I just did at the last change. I'm just wondering if a filter influenced those numbers for the better.

I have not installed an inline trans filter. I have considered it though & believe that it would be beneficial somewhat but lack of fluid flow to certain areas & massive shearing are the real issues & those are design flaws. A filter might help it limp along further though.

Reducing wear in the ATF and solubles can only help.

TAN reached its limit. Visc and flashpoint are climbing.

ATF is sheared thin. RLI needs to experiment with different VM's or VII's.
