TBN looks a bit high. How much top up oil have you added?? What oil filter??

The calcium is looking a bit high for M1.

I think this looks like a very good report. I think you could do 6K no problem.

No top off and PureOne filters. Dang, you'd think I'd know to post that with the results by now. I thought a higher TBN was what one wanted? Still learning.....

I was just suprised that the TBN is so remarkably high. Your right, the higher the better. I just expected it to be around 5 or so at this point with no significant makeup added.

The report looks great. I just can't believe the TBN. It looks almost like new oil.

Cool. That's what I thought I had learned over the years on this forum. It did seem higher than some of the other posts. Thanks.

You might question Blackstone on this, if you really want to, but M1 is for sure going to have good TBN @ 5K.

I don't think the Si is a problem at all.

Why not try for 6K?

Why not try for 7500 miles?

BTW, how many miles do you have on the car?

This is a great report. You could go to 10k with this oil most likely.

Go 7500 miles on this oil. Thats the normal schedule in your manual anyway. I have my moms 03 v6 accord and my grandmas 01 accord v6 filled with m1 0w20 and pure one filters. Which, they only get drained once a year bc they both dont drive that much.

Nothing really different here. Just looking for some insight from others. Oil had 5300 miles on it with a TBN of 8.3, so really I could take this oil out longer, or??? Visc. seemed good. Don't like the copper, but that has really been popping up in these V6 Honda's recently. Iron is coming down with the M1. I checked the air filter this change out and it's still clean and no tears or any obvious signs. Is that OK, or do I need to start digging into it harder? Blackstone says they don't think it's abrasive dirt escaping the air filter.

Thanks for sharing Schmoe. I recently switched back from M1 0w-20 to M1 5w30 on my 02 Accord V6. Should be interesting comparing your results with mine.
