The wifes 01 T&C has been stumbling pretty bad at times when the AC is on. When the AC is off there is no problem at all. It is worst from a dead stop. The problem is intermittent so not sure exactly what the problem could be.

Any ideas what to check?

Plugs are less than 20K. I checked the front wires and they seem to be fine. I will take off the cowl to check the back wires this afternoon.

Should I do the old trick of starting it up after dark to see if the wires are arcing?

Had this problem with the 02 CV 3.3,turned out the fuel filter assembly as allowing air to get in.Funny as it sounds,it was,the o rings didnt seal well and if you grabbed the lines it would spray fuel.Replaced it,and power picked up and its much more steady. The 3.3 anyway once you get some high miles on it will sag under load....170 hp sounds like a lot,but really when it has to move such a heavy vehicle around (add ac being on too) it only gets worse.Surging can be an EGR problem too.

Yeah the 3.3 has never had much power. I'm not messing with the fuel filter since you have to remove the entire fuel tank (did that a year ago).

What is an 02 CV? Voyager?

Sounds to me a likely issue with a sensor not functioning properly, what sensor i am at a loss to say, i am not that up to par with all aspects of the modern engine config. The computer should sense a draw on the engine and power up to meet the demand therefore keeping it smooth throughout the ac compressor cycle. May try googleing your problem for awnsers.

Unfortunately when I google it there are so many different reasons that are returned as results that it would take me a month to check them all.
