I'm fixing to replace the spark plug wires on my '01 Ranger with the 4.0L V6 as part of recurring maintenance.

Duralast $32.99
OmniSpark $32.99
Xact $34.99
Autolite $42.99
NGK $51.99
Bosch $62.99

Any problem with any of these choices? I'm leaning toward Duralast.

Thanks.

I second the Motorcraft. $42 on Rockauto. I've had nothing but bad luck with aftermarket wires on my truck. But off the list you gave I would go with NGK's.

To add to the Motorcraft thing, Ford Racing might make some spiffy blue racing ones for that application. The 05-10 Mustang V6's had the 4.0 SOHC and they might work.

Is this a OHV or OHC engine? I used Bosch on my OHV 4.0 50k
ago and they have been fine. The OHV 4.0 has a very tight turn
on the driver side front plug to protect it from heat and I
was concerned that such a bend would cause problems but so far so good.

I would stay with the oem. How's the Accord running? I'm at 111,000. Fingers crossed on my AT.

Honda is doing fine - 153k & nothing other than regular scheduled maintenance (yes, timing belt & valve clearances at 140k).
