nah not really .. it's a wash more or less but the Pentius is by far a superior deal when you buy a case.

Pentius has tighter pleats and an internal metal crimped seam and almost always a little cleaner than the PG Vietnam and China factories.

. I am using one now.. they seem very well built but not sure about the filtration quality. this vid shows the Ecogard did not do well at all but this is the more rare filter design afaik.. I have the other style with the white material and not sure how spot on this brand ranks testing is...

yes that is what I guessed was the source if you see my above post #4 . here below is the basic GKI cut open and all the same type markings are there on top of can and side font style plus the base plate is identical and the end caps so looks like too many things to be a coincidence and now...

. That is a very nice filter. I would bet that this Castrol filters is made by the same factory as this GKI Oil FIlter... Check the stamp on top, the Font on the side of the can, the base plate and the end cap design.
