    Egg Yolks Reduce Cholesterol

...and your blood cholesterol increases from eating saturated fats and dietary cholesterol It's so basic and well proven it Isn't even worth arguing about. Like the flat earth theory At best you could say that at a certain point of dietary fats and cholesterol Intake that blood cholesterol...

    Egg Yolks Reduce Cholesterol

Eggs yolks increase cholesterol. We have mountains of good data on this for the last several decades . Almost every single study you see to the contrary is bunk science designed to show a predetermined outcome by the egg industry . Like comparing eggs to a sausage mcmuffin and then saying...

The industry is WRONG: your best tires belong up front

Huh. Who says the best tires go on the rear ? My whole life I've heard that the best tires always go on the front..never the rear . Makes sense to me. Especially in fwd or fwd biased cars (most cars)

Longevity of fluids left in containers

Expiration dates are only really required (or used) for health and safety reasons. My brake fluid doesn't have an expiration date and makes no mention of using it all within a certain timeframe once the seal is broken, yet we all know it has a finite shelf life

Longevity of fluids left in containers

I would very strongly suspect that motor oil definitely has a shelf life Though, north of 5 years I would imagine

Changing your oil when it's hot - good/bad/who cares?

Can tell you that if you run E85 and a lot of short tripping that a cold oil drain won't remove any of the gel that may have built up in the pan

2022+ Subaru WRX FA24F Oil Strategy

Don't know if this matters to you or not but Danny tuning is very much respected in the WRX community and has said multiple times that shell 93 gas is inconsistent and can cause him issues when tuning If you stay stock I wouldn't worry about it at all

2022+ Subaru WRX FA24F Oil Strategy

I don't know if I mentioned this earlier or not but the owners manual says 5w30 can be used. I had an oil change done at my dealer after purchase and they had no problem throwing 5w30 in there when I requested it.

    Bypass PSI Question

No. Bypass rating is based on the filter media of the filter, not the needs of the car. The oil filter will essentially never open the bypass valve Pick whatever oil filter you like and carry on

Rebuilding a 2004 Suburban rear differential- how hard

I would absolutely just find a used or rebuilt diff. Way easier and they made a bazillion of them over the years. Finding one shouldn't prove too difficult

Subaru WRX vs Ascent - Octane vs Horsepower

That's exactly what the manual says . A lot of guys run 87. I imagine 89 would be fine for most situations

Subaru WRX vs Ascent - Octane vs Horsepower

No no no. This isn't how car guy math works An extra 11hp every day x 10 years and then carry the number of manual shifts you made all squared over turbo noises .... would be more appropriate measurement. In all seriousness, I buy premium gas for most cars anyway. The 60 cents/gallon is worth...

    $30 reward on 10 qts Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Feb 1 - Aug 31, 2026

This rebate is completely useless if I can't purchase the product at a Walmart store AZ and the Irish place want $40/jug vs $26 at Walmart

Subaru WRX vs Ascent - Octane vs Horsepower

I don't know if they fudged the numbers. WRX dyno sheets show it probably has 20hp over what the factory stated The fa24 is very responsive to tuning could easily handle another 50hp from the factory while maintaining OEM reliability My guess is they did that way for the same reason the WRX is...

2022+ Subaru WRX FA24F Oil Strategy

I went deep into the bypass rabbit hole. Short version is that the filter media of the filter itself will determine the bypass rating of that filter. 23psi isn't something that Subaru engineers wanted for the engine but rather what that OEM filter needs That said, your engine is almost never...

The 20-year life expectancy gap inside the United States

One thing that needs to be noted with data like this are untimely deaths of young people from accidents and substance abuse. Which varies regionally. Along with the correlation between Income and health. Which isn't usually about access to healthcare as much as it is the type of people that...
