I'm within 5 lbs of my goal; at 165 and targeting 160. I'm 5'9" tall, so not crazy skinny or anything. I carry a lot of weight down low in my legs, so I'll never be 150 or anything like that. Anyway, my big downfall is fruit right now. I love the summer fruit, and it's like a drug for me...
One good thing, the "gaping maw" front-end styling trend is fading. Lexus is still hanging tough with it, but many other makers are moving back to smaller grill openings. And while we are complaining about styling elements, I hate the new IP design trend that looks like a tablet sitting on top...
Why do you need a quick connect? Just switch the nipple or stuff the hose over the existing one and use a clamp. This is not rocket science. The CM Tools cap is readily available and cheap.
Good point! Mobil DTE Heavy is ISO 100. There are lots of options in R&O/Turbine oils in that weight. Most sold in 5-gallon pails. I use DTE Light in my lathe. Some people confuse this type of oil with hydraulic oil, which is different, but typically works okay interchangeably. It's not...
Thanks for the part numbers. I bought these and installed them on my mower. The foam filter is quite thin, but it should knock down a fair bit of the debris.
I'm using this cap and a Motive pressure bleeder. I simply stuffed the Motive hose over the barb and sealed it with a hose clamp. Works great.
When bleeding, I don't bother with brake fluid in the bleeder. Just watch the level in the master and top off are needed.
The layshaft bearings in the Triumph transmission are a major weak point. While the main shaft bearings are large caged ball type, the laygear is supported by small needle bearings, which commonly fail. And when the bearings fail, they take out the laygear & layshaft, which are expensive...
This strikes me as remarkable. Many people can't move their cholesterol despite drastic measures, and here you are, blowing it out of the water! Great job!
I agree with using 15W-40 diesel. The JATCO police will be by shortly to scold the supporters, though.
20W-40 is a Yamaha thing. Any 10W-40, 15W-40, or 20W-50 will work just fine.
I bought the new replacement version, and it's a POS. Tip broke.
I've found both a Wera and Vessel that are pretty close to the same size. I'm going to order them and see how they are.
I've used my old Craftsman tools heavily over many years. No complaints, but no passion either, other than that small screwdriver that I'm searching for. I'm not a collector, nor a flipper, I'm a user. It's small, thin, lightweight, and tough.
