2026 F250 7.3L 1100 miles first oil change. 5w30 Valvoline Restore and Protect (had enough laying around) PG4651EX Filter. Probably do Valvoline Extended Protection moving forward.

My truck takes 6.2 quarts. so one jug and 2 quarts.

I figured this going into asking this question. But this is BITOG after all, so I was curious to see what the community said. Thanks for all the help.

Basically what I was thinking. Sticking with OEM after this change, since I already bought the Fram Ultra.

2022 Tacoma V6 Valvoline 5W30 + OEM Filters 5k OCI's, short trips daily. Max is 20 miles stop and go per day. Should I prioritize the best filtration? IE: using Fram Ultras. Or should I use fully synthetic filters? IE: Purolator Boss Just curious on what this community thinks.

I’m stuck on what filter I should use. I guess it doesn’t really matter.

I’ll look into the other filter options. Do you have a preference?

Thanks for the info. Valvoline Extended Protection 5w30 is hard to find consistently my my local Walmarts, but Mobil 1 Extended Performance is always there. Based off all of these comments and info, I’m going to switch to Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W30 + a Fram Ultra for this go around and...

For my use case would Mobil 1 Extended Performance be better for my 5k OCI and short daily trips?

The short trips are what concerned me about switching OCI’s. I’ll order up an analyst kit from Black Stone and go from there.
