I’ve read of some oil pressure issues with the Donaldson filter. Not sure if any of that is true or was the root cause. Another interesting filter is the Fleetguard Venturi filter. @NashNative

I have one and have never had an issue with spillage, but struggle to get the filter restarted onto the stud through the wheel well with a prefilled filter. The tire being in the way is most of my trouble. Maybe there is an easier way than through the wheel well?

Debating oils for my 6.7L Cummins. It has no egr or dpf. I’ve been running whatever I can get the best price on…..Kirkland, Rotella, Delo all in the 15w-40 flavor. I’ve been doing a 5k oil change even though the oil minder will send you to 15k or it says change at 7500 for less than ideal...

it got Mobil delvac extreme 15w-40 as that was what I keep on the shelf for the Cummins. It sounds happy

I asked for oils that carry VW507. I also asked for drawbacks to HDEO, which were posted by the first two reply’s. I didn’t ask for smart comments. Your time would be better spent being helpful. 😉

ok, what’s the drawback to HDEO, like I asked in the OP? I have gallons of it on the shelf for equipment and Cummins powered trucks. One less item to stock if there are no drawbacks......but why would I even want to? 😂

Older kubota tractor 2005/2006. See the specs in the owners manual in the attachment. Seems those API ratings are obsolete and have been replaced/upgraded. I live in TN where the weather is pretty mild. We rarely have a night below 15-20f in the winter. Thoughts on what weight and such to run.
