The war between robots and humans have started

AI being talked about more and more everyday is overshadowing genetic manipulation. Each day the dystopia depicted in the 1997 movie “Gattaca” becomes more and more closer to becoming real.

Hazards on during heavy rain/snow/low visibility....what say you?

It’s a good concept, only drawback is cars that use the same bulb for brake lamps as the turn signal. Queue this video:

    A good daily driver

Just bought a 2000 Yukon XL. Wide, thick padded seats. Even the third row is plush. Only down side is 15 mpg but it’s an 8 passenger vehicle that has tons of storage with seats folded down.

    Expensive License Plate!

I remember an article a few years back a 90s Volvo wagon was being sold for way, way more than it was worth because it had the registered NY license plate that spelt out “NEW YORK”. I don’t know if anyone bought it.

Idaho or rural Tennessee would be my picks if I were to move

Average new car price is $50K ? Insanity.

If you can afford it, then good on you. My point was if you have a car payment and live in an apartment, then in my opinion, you’re not focusing on what’s actually important.

Average new car price is $50K ? Insanity.

Almost all cars will depreciate to near worthless after just a few years. Rode in a coworkers 2022 Accord Touring 2.0T yesterday, honestly a really nice car. But for $500 a month for 6 years? I don’t see it a worthy upgrade over my 2013 Camry XLE. Besides the Accord having ventilated seats and...

Average new car price is $50K ? Insanity.

I heard you should never spend more than 5% of your net worth on a car, but that’s just what I’ve heard.

    9th gen Impala

My drivers-Ed car was a 9th Gen Impala. Nothing special, my biggest complaint was a lack of padding in the rear seat headrests. Feels like they put fabric over concrete. Seats themselves were comfortable though, beats any other newer Chevy I’ve been in.

Pilot Compensation Up To $590,000 Per Year

It would be nice if the A&Ps made at least a little more. I mean, a pilot doesn’t have a job if the plane can’t fly

Car Features You'd Pay To Remove

Rubber coated plastics. Never experienced it but I know 2000s German cars had the problem where they coated the interior plastics with a rubbery material to make it feel more “premium” but 10+ years of heat and such turns that rubber into a sticky, goopy disaster. Glad I haven’t owned a vehicle...

    Dear Town Car owners…

Is there a single manufacturer that makes a white vehicle that doesn’t peel? Toyota, Kia/Hyundai, Honda, and General Motors all seem to have problems with white paint flaking off.

    Dear Town Car owners…

To all “newer” Lincoln Town car owners (1998-2011) how happy are you with your cars? I’m possibly thinking of getting one in the future because I want an old skool style sedan built with comfort as #1 priority. How reliable has it been for you? Common problems? Are they expensive to maintain...

Every Single Honda Accord Generation, Ranked

My first car was a 5th Gen (1997) 2-door. My family owned it from 2003-2022, we got it with 93,000 miles, I was the last owner and it had 332,000 miles on it when we got rid of it. I kinda miss that car. It treated us well, but sometimes you just have to say goodbye.

    A good daily driver

I found the leather seats in Camrys feel like they have more padding in them compared to cloth. I test drive a 2015 LE (cloth) before getting my 2013 XLE (leather) and felt the seats in my 2013 are more plush. I’m happy with my Camry, I find it comfortable and I get up to 35 mpg on my interstate...

Mercedes crashes into a wall at 300kph

It’s from the simulation game, BeamNG.Drive https://www.beamng.com/game/ It’s the most accurate consumer-available vehicle simulator when it comes to crash-physics I guess everyone who thought it was real, the game did it’s job then haha

Listening to the radio in your vehicle.....

Spotify via the aftermarket Apple CarPlay stereo I installed. I listen to a lot of different stuff, don’t feel like listing all.

Woman died inside burning SUV that started 'going crazy'; doors wouldn't unlock

Perhaps a junkyard? I’d pick a car that has multiple similar models in the yard, that way you’re not screwing over someone who needed a window for their car and the only one in the yard is smashed out (I found the first gen Ford Focus to be very populated at my local pick-n-pull, about a dozen...

Woman died inside burning SUV that started 'going crazy'; doors wouldn't unlock

My 2013 Camry will unlock if the interior door handle is pulled, but only on the front doors. My 1997 Accord did not do this at all I keep a utility knife with a spring loaded window breaker in my console, hope I’ll never need it though.
