Hmmm, I wonder if GC 0W30 would be a good oil for my 25 HP Mercury???????

Beanoil, ran the wife's 2004 Malibu, with 2.2 L EcoTec to 8K on one OCI and about 7.5K or 95% on OLM, both with GC Green. UOA came out fantastic. The Blackstone analysis is in UOA forum, somewhere a few months back. Do not be afraid to push GC, it's a great oil.

Mobil 1 Delvac 5W40, 7272 miles, 1 year on oil. This truck gets driven on short 10 mile round trips about 2-3 times a week, then usually long 200 mile round trips towing on weekends at freeway speeds. Should I switch back to dino,(Delvac 1300) and change out at 6 months, or not worry about it?

Bill, any comments on ratio of lead to iron? My last Dmax analysis had lead at 4 and iron at 4. A comment was made that there might be a "problem", due to the ratio of iron to lead. They said as a rule, lead should be half of iron. At 4 ppm, I don't think it's anything to worry about with a 7200...

Have not seen it here in Florida at any Wal-Marts or anywhere else. Advanced Auto says they are going to carry it. I will believe it, when I see it!

Neighhbor informed me she had the oil changed in her husbands Dodge V8 pickup. She said it hadn't been changed in over 2 and a half years! Should something special be done with it? Off the top of my head, I would run it for a week or less, then change again. I guess it came out like molassas...
