    I use Amsoil I my HD,but...I’ve always meant to ask the penn grade 1 folks a question. Their 20-50 Mc oil is aprroved for wet clutches. Their high performance 20-50 is semi syn and has a better additive package that would seem better for a Harley twin cam?

    Questions for a 04 Harley Twin Cam 88 ci

    I’d recommend gear oil for the transmission instead of motor oil. I had a 01 dyna which I sold to a friend 8 years ago. After almost 80000 miles ,I’d say the amsoil severe gear 75-110 was a good choice for the 5 speed.

    Penn Grade 20-50

    PG1 motorcycl oil is recommended for bikes that share a sump with the clutch and transmission. My 2012 Road King does not. I’m thinking that their High Performance Partial Synthetic 20-50 would be a better choice. Bike has an oil cooler and I have an aftermarket oil pan that increases capacity...
