    0w-20 Different Directional Tangent

Wasn't meant to be, trust me. I've been floating on this board long enough to definitely not start another beating of dead horse thread!

    0w-20 Different Directional Tangent

I think that you don't quite get where I'm coming from...no thick vs thin. I am strictly using 0w20 oils...period, and hoping to find one with the best qualities for my application. I posed the question to basically see what other opinions/comments/questions/concerns/or just why responses to...

    0w-20 Different Directional Tangent

They are all Amsoil's 0w-20 oils. Right now I have the VW 508/509 spec in the crankcase. So far, same amount of consumption as the 30 weights I've used. And for those that like to know about engine "sounds" with different oils, no real difference...sounds like a muffled diesel go kart! I lost...

    0w-20 Different Directional Tangent

Oversimplifying...yes to the consumption part. Unfortunately, I hadn't planned on testing the oils when draining. Lack of funds and given my OCI's a waste IMHO.

    0w-20 Different Directional Tangent

Good afternoon everyone...it has been years since I have been on the board with an actual posting to discuss. So, based on all of the beaten-down dead horse discussions of thick vs. thin, may I present my current experiment if you will. I am currently trying a 0w-20 year-round oil viscosity...

    Notre Dame on fire

I am just stunned...which is why I posted this. 850 years of history. I am thankful that when I was in Paris for three months back in 1998, that my wife and I got to see it.. If the walls hold...we will rebuild it! This piece of magnificence cannot be allowed to be extinguished.

    VP Racing Line of Oils

It was the High Performance line..sorry I was unclear on that point. Her car doesn't use oil, so that is why I am not concerned about the usage, also since the vehicle has over 100K, I would be responsible for putting on a new cat if it plugged.

    Synlube oil 5Wx20 Conclusion

This stuff has been around, and by the information of many a good poster here, it is one product to stay far, far away from!

    VP Racing Line of Oils

Question for you racers and oil gurus out there: Have any of you heard of or used any of VP's line of lubricants? On a whim (and getting a bug up my behind to try something different again), I purchased a case of their 10w30 Synthetic racing blend, and currently it resides in the crankcase of...

    0w16 t0 0w8

Call me late, or ignorant, but I DO see a future for these oils in the premise mentioned above by several...thin oils for a small engine attached to a battery pack hybrid system. It would stand to reason that also given the stop/start systems out there as well, that this stuff will get to the...
