Heard back from Schaffer’s customer service email. 274 is the recommended grease from Schaffer’s.

I like the idea of the mystik. My consider this, I don’t mind having two grease guns. I do 4 pumps a year in my 15 4Runner slip yoke. To answer your question, yes the 219 does contain some type of moly.

I never saw the actual part. I believe its a kit, so probably the two small ones up top and the long tensioner/guide on the right side. I think Toyota was just taking a guess. It didn't make any change to the whine. I believe it's the engine or transmission pump, but I don't really know.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit!

I'm with you on not being 100% clear regarding those welds. The OTC's I bought are welded on the inside. What's your thought on that missing bit of material around the circular area? Thanks
