What type of oil with your bypass system

I run Delvac 5W40 in my Dodge Cummins, Polaris Ranger and a Honda cycle. Ran Amsoil in a prior Ford Powerstroke, in my Harley and in my wife's Voyager and like both oils. I believe synthetics are better but with these filters running, our engines will run seemingly forever with either. Just make...

    transmission filter?

Hi Gene: I put a Motor Gard by-pass tranny filter on my 2005 CTD with good success. Mounted a filter housing from Perma-Cool on the driver's side engine, ran high pressure hose to the Motor Gard By-Pass and back. Coolant Bypass

    Coolant Bypass

I have been using coolant by-pass and full flow filters on diesels for some time. I prefer the by-pass filters and now use Ralph's Motor Guard on a 2005 Dodge Cummins since new. The first TP change did show a lot of junk but since then the filter has been fairly clean. I guess it is doing its job.

Anyone put bypass in engine compartment of Ram

Hi trik396: I have the same truck and put 3 MGs for engine oil, tranny oil and a coolant filter. They are mounteed on a piece of aluminum angle bolted to the exhaust manifold. All seems to work well. I don't kow how to attach pictures for you but I will email them if you need. Harry
