Rotella ELC or the Valvoline ELC is all we use in any diesel here. If you have a Rush Truck Center near you its normally cheaper than other places.

This is the only can that I have held off on. Its hard to pay 3-450 for a 22 can and then pop another 200 on top of it. At least with my rifle cans they come out to under half the cost of the actual firearm they are going on. But absolutely 22 is the most fun you can have with a can.

2004 Gmc Yukon with 298k Out : Havoline 10w30 Blend and STP S3506 Filter In: 4qts Rotella T5 10w30, 1.5qts Mobil HDEO 15w40 and .5qts of Isuzu 5w30 synthetic. (what we had laying around the shop.) STP S3506 filter.

Oh it is very creative. Two def injectors, one behind the turbo and the other inside the "one box", eliminated the egr cooler in doing so, and eliminated the doc. It will be interesting to see the price on this one box when it inevitably fails.

Just picked up 12 of these filters for 1.80 a piece for my 04 Yukon. Looks to be the same internally as the white box super tech. Any info on who makes them by chance? Not really worried about, would just be cool to know. Will be running these with 15w40 for 5k intervals.

Doing some digging on filters for the wifes 2015 Edge with the 2.0 as the service is due within the next 1k miles. Car is ran about 10 miles a day and then gets used as the vacation vehicle. Since it is is ran on short trips, but it does get to operating temps during that trip I normally change...

I know im late to the party, but I was reviewing these UOA's because we have had serious problems at work with them. According to Isuzu, 1 quart for every 100 gallons of fuel is normal for these. We have also seen several come apart on the bottom end already with under 30k miles.

Looking at quick struts for the wifes car and its down to two... maybe? On RA im seeing the Gabriel Ultra or the Monroe quick struts for the front, but Gabriel does not show anything for the rear so it may only be Monroe as an option. Are the Monroes any good? Or do I just need to pony up to...

It has been a really long day of angry customers thanks to back ordered parts and I didn't really understand what that comment meant.

I dont care about doing the brakes, I just want to buy the best for the car. Honestly a local dealer has a special for 179.99 for motorcraft pads and turning the rotors, but how often do they actually turn vs just saying they are bad....
