I guess by low tech, I meant an analog interior. I don’t want to have to use a touchscreen to tune the radio chang the volume turn on the HVAC etc. I like the tactical feel of knobs and switches. They’re easier to find while driving.
There was a local Nashville news report they talked about car manufacturers, going back to knobs and switches because touchpads are being rejected by customers. I hope it’s true.
I’m in the market for a new car first time in 25 years however I don’t want a car that requires an engineering degree just to turn on the radio or air conditioning. Are there any newer cars that are low tech?
Just moved to Hermitage TN and did not take my tools with me. I have a 2021 CX-5 Turbo that needs to spark plugs. I have the plugs just trying to find someone to install. I called a local shop and they will not install custom purchased parts. I could do it myself but that would mean buying the...
Local AAP going out of business. Since all oil and fuel additives are 50% off or more, what would you try just for the heck of it? What would you stock up on?
For my 66 barracuda, it wasn’t so much mileage it was time. I had to choose something and two years seems about right. Could it have gone three or four years? Possibly. I just settled on two years really no rationale behind the decision
I was just going to open another bottle of Chevron and pour in half a quart but sometimes it’s fun to experiment or see what others think. That’s why I love BITOG
I have read dozens of articles on oil additives but it’s still fun to come back for more
Just changed the oil on my 66 barracuda with a 273 V8. I used Chevron supreme 10 W – 40. I need to add half quart more but instead of opening a new container of oil I thought I might try an additive instead. Any suggestions?
I decided not to change the oil filter this time. Nothing to do with cost I just have this thing about wasting resources. Just seems weird to throw away an oil filter that is rated for 5000 miles when it only has 1000 miles of use. Next Oil change will get a new filter!
