I just got a 2010 impala 3.9l with 100k. There’s a lot of play on the engine when changing gears from park to neutral to reverse etc. I believe that means it’s time for new engine mounts. Are the anchor brand mounts any good? I see they are priced well and sold in various places like rockauto...

How about going down one grade. In this case from 5w-30 (what ‘07-‘13 5.3L silverados call for) to 0w-20

The ‘07-‘13 5.3L vortec calls for 5w-30 The ‘14-‘18 5.3L vortec calls for 0w-20 isn’t it the same exact engine? I have a ‘09 Silverado (5w-30) but a stash of 0w-20 oil on me. Is it ok for me to use it on this truck? People with knowledge on the GM vortec engines please reply.

This here ^ bought the car used less than 1 year ago. Didn’t think to inspect all the tires for plugs and if so how many when I was buying it.

I had a tire that was slowly leaking air. Went to the tire shop today and they found a small nail. He also showed me there were 4 other plugs on the tread in different spots around the tire. He asked if i wanted a plug, patch, or get a new tire. Told him to plug it. Now am thinking should’ve of...

Update! Went back to the tire shop. Since it was pulling to the left, had to the 2 front swapped to the opposite side. They checked the balance and both were perfectly balanced. I then test drove it and it pulled to the RIGHT now.

An update- i was also feeling my steeing wheel vibrate. Went to the tire shop and they saw one of the front tires had a bubble in the tread. Put a new tire on. as far as the pulling, it still pulls to the left

First time ever experiencing this. 2010 mits galant. Fwd. I had an alignment done about 1.5 mnths ago and she drives straight as an arrow. Today i decided to do my 10k tire rotation. Simple back to front and front to back. Now the car pulls to the left. What in the world?!

Had the valve cover gaskets done. Have owned this car for about 1k miles now. Here's a peek of how we are looking under the cover.
