Which oil would you use in a Smart ForTwo with the 1L L3 Mitsubishi gas engine? For warranty purposes it has to meet MB229.5 spec, which up here for a readily available oil means either M1 0W40 or GC 0W30. The 30 in the winter and the 40 in the summer? Or whichever one is on-sale... Thanks !

Wear numbers appear to be going down nicely. This OCI had a medium-length highway trip ~2200 miles round-trip; the fuel economy during the trip including the in-town driving at the destination was 41.5 mpg. The OCI is at least 50% highway.
